In particular:

About Us
Ioannis (Giannis) Tsilikas
Ioannis (Giannis) Tsilikas holds a five-year Diploma (integrated MSc) in applied Physics from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A). Currently, he is pursuing his PhD degree at the National Technical University of Athens in the field of ultra-short laser pulses’ interaction with matter at the Physics Department of N.T.U.A. He has contributed to seven national research projects and four European research projects, up to September 2023. His ongoing research interests encompass optical experimental setups for Femto Laser Systems, photonics signal processing, the interaction of short and ultra-short duration laser pulses with biological matter, biophotonics, and photonics.
From 2017 until August 2023, he held the position of Innovation Manager and Director at Cos Hellas Ltd. Company (https://www.coshellas.com/en/). Additionally, he served as a board member of DAEM SA Anonymous Development Company of Computerization and Business Units OTA of the Municipality of Athens (https://www.daem.gr/) from October 2019 until December 2021.
He actively contributes to research at the RNCP laboratory (Research Unit on Neuromorphic Computing and Photonics, https://rncp.eu/).
Starting in May 2023, he serves as the CEO of Lightsaber.
Stavros Deligiannidis
Dr. Stavros Deligiannidis holds a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Microelectronics and VLSI from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Ph.D. from the University of West Attica, specializing in novel AI based signal processing techniques for optical communication systems.
From 2010 to 2019, he worked as a Lecturer in Computer Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese and then in Digital Systems at the University of Peloponnese, Greece, teaching courses in Computer Architecture, Microprocessors, Optical Communications, and Electronics.
From 2024 he holds the position of Appointed Lecturer at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens where he teaches Optical Communications for Space Applications.
Between 2008 and 2012, he served as a researcher on optical communication projects for the Department of Informatics at the University of Athens.
Since 2018, he has been actively involved in research at the RNCP laboratory (Research Unit on Neuromorphic Computing and Photonics). His ongoing research focuses on optical communications, Deep Learning, Digital Signal Processing, and parallel computing. He has authored more than 25 research publications in scientific journals and conferences (served as the main author or made major contributions), accumulating over 600 citations. With 12 years of experience in information system management within the domain of local governance, he assumed the role of a Development Engineer Collaborator at the Panhellenic School Network since 2018. Additionally, since 2008, he has been concurrently working as a freelance professional in the design and development of web applications and software, including the creation of 3D graphics and music development.
Ilias Katis
Ilias Katis holds a Diploma in Applied Mathematics from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences at NTUA. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD degree at the University of Thessaly, specializing in Data Analysis applied in Health Sciences.
He has participated in five national research projects, working in the private sector as a researcher and an office manager. His current scientific interests include Machine Learning, Topology, and various other methods involved in Data Analysis, applied across several fields, with a focus on Health Sciences.
Vaggelis Loukatos
Vangelis Loukatos holds a BSc in Economic & Regional Development from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and he has several certifications in Tax & Accounting Seminars.
He has participated as an Accounting Manager in 5 research projects, submitting the financial dossier to the competent authorities for review and audit.
He is a Consultant in Greek taxation, in accounting analyses and in labor content matters.
